As a trained forester, Roger Keller founded R. Keller AG in 1986 together with 2 partners. At first, the company’s activities included mainly forestry work and various transports by truck.
In 1989, this company became the present Harvesta AG.
The beginning was marked by fully mechanized forest management with the first harvesters and forwarders in Switzerland.<\/p>\n
This was also the time when attempts were made to take over wood ex-stock and to sell the resulting logs. Roger Keller subsequently specialized more and more in the marketing of softwood logs<\/a> and industrial timber<\/a>.
